Tarrant’s ballots, the state’s record

Tarrant County’s own list of the mail ballots it has received back, set voter by voter against the Secretary of State’s public early-voting roster.

The Secretary of State says its early-voting data come directly from each county. If that were so, the two records would match. They do not.

This is not an allegation against any voter.

Of the 1,308 ballots received through October 17 that the state does not carry, 910 carry an ordinary 10-digit state voter ID, and 857 of those have a Texas mailing address. C0146

InferenceThe state’s record names voters by that same ID, so the number cannot be the reason these voters are missing. For ballots received in September and early October, the state’s record has had days or weeks to carry them. C0146

The state’s record across its downloads

From the morning of October 15 to the morning of October 18, every download of the state’s roster carried the same 4,314 Tarrant mail voters. In each of the three downloads where it next grew, the state also removed voters it had carried the download before. C0147

Tarrant’s own file removed no one between its builds of October 17 and October 19. C0147

Tarrant received 14 ballots on September 30. The state carried 6 of them on October 16 C0134 and carries 4 on October 20. C0146
